We’re Ben and Melissa, passionate animal lovers and dedicated pet sitters.
Our love for animals has been lifelong. Over the years, we’ve shared our lives with a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils.
In addition to caring for pets, we are actively involved in fostering and volunteering with Fagin’s Waifs & Strays, a local feral and stray cat rescue in Coventry. This has enriched our experience with cats of all ages and personalities—whether they’re playful, timid, fussy, or shy. Currently, we are fostering a semi-feral cat, which has further deepened our understanding of feline behavior and care.
We also have extensive experience with dogs of various sizes and breeds, including pugs, French Bulldogs, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, and German Shepherds. Our background ensures we’re well-equipped to handle pets with diverse needs and temperaments.

Bark+Purr Pet Services provide drop-in home visits to care for your pets.
We understand that your furry friends are family, and we’re dedicated to providing them with love, attention and personalised care whilst you’re away.
Whether it’s a quick walk around the block, a tummy fill, or a fuss and play session, we make sure your pets feel happy, loved and comfortable.
During each visit, we’ll feed your pets as per your instructions, ensure they have water, and give plenty of fuss and play (if they’re comfortable with it). If it is a dog we are caring for, we can take them for a tailored walk. We’re also happy to help with simple home tasks like opening/closing curtains, bringing in the post if you have a porch, or putting out the bins. Plus, we’ll keep you in the loop with adorable photos and updates via Whatsapp so you can see how your pets are doing.
Our drop-in visits start from £12.50 per visit – please get in touch for full pricing and availability.
We also offer just dog walking visits from £15 (no group walks unless from the same household).
